Dickson’s Farmstand – Chelsea Market

2,000 SF Fit-Out in Chelsea Market

Casual Food & Beverage/Retail
Butcher & Fine Foods Shop Fit-Out

Wesbuilt completed this upscale fit-out for Dickson’s Farmstand at the famed Chelsea Market. Dickson’s Farmstand is a neighborhood butcher shop offering artisanal meats and house-made charcuterie, sourced from small, family farms in upstate New York. This project involved transforming a vacant space in the market into a fully operational and inviting butcher and delicatessen. The project included the installation of durable and easy-to-clean flooring and walls which are essential for maintaining a sanitary environment in a butcher shop. Commercial-grade flooring materials such as altro and epoxy resin were used to withstand heavy foot traffic and spills. Walls were finished with washable and hygienic surfaces, such as ceramic tiles and food-grade wall panels. The project also included the installation of high-quality refrigeration and cold storage, crucial for preserving the freshness and quality of meats. Wesbuilt installed walk-in refrigerators and freezers equipped with temperature control systems to ensure optimal storage conditions including display cases and refrigerated counters which were incorporated to showcase various cuts of meat.
