Wesbuilt and Miami Beach, FL-based architectural firm THIRLWALL completed a $2.2 million renovation and fit-out of the ground floor of 125 West 25th Street, a 12-story commercial building in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, as the location of the New York flagship fitness club of 54D, the international fitness brand headquartered in Mexico City. The space features a lobby, retail area, a 2,500-square foot training room, recovery rooms, locker rooms, consultation rooms, and a media room. The fit-out also included a comprehensive acoustical enclosure of the gymnasium and new MEP systems. The industrial warehouse design vernacular that represents the 54D brand identity is reflected in the finishes used throughout the studio.
