Wesbuilt completed the fit-out of high-end Hong-Kong based restaurant Hutong in the former Le Cirque space on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Backed by international restaurant group Aqua, this space represents the first US opening for the group who have a portfolio spanning Hong Kong, Beijing, Dubai, France, and the UK. Designed by Robert Angel International, with local AOR services by Shalat Architects, the Art Deco space exudes an air of sophistication, drawing inspiration from the bustling energy of 1920s New York and Shanghai. The expansive, 18,000-square-foot space features high-ceilings, a 140-seat dining room, an 83-seat lounge and bar, and private dining rooms.
