Wesbuilt completed the 39-unit gut rehab of 12 East 88th Street, a luxury residential block on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. This 11-story-plus penthouse building, designed by legendary architect Rosario Candela in 1931 blends pre-war details with present-day design. The project involved the complete gut renovation and modernization of the building to convert it into condominiums, while preserving and paying homage to the timeless Candela design. The renovations, designed by Vicente Wolfe and Kinlin Rutherfurd include a remodeled lobby, all new kitchens, bathrooms, MEP systems and amenities such as a fitness center and children’s playroom.
