The Cliffs at Gowanus

Wesbuilt completed the fit-out of The Cliffs at Gowanus, a 42,000-square-foot indoor rock climbing and fitness facility in Brooklyn. As the largest climbing gym in New York City, the space features the tallest climbing walls in the city, reaching heights of up to 40 feet. The project included the installation of custom climbing walls, a full-service fitness center, changing rooms, showers, and a dedicated retail area. Extensive coordination was required to accommodate the gym’s unique structural and safety systems, including wall anchoring, fall protection, and specialized lighting and HVAC integration. The result is a state-of-the-art recreational facility that supports a growing community of climbers and athletes while contributing to the revitalization of Brooklyn’s Gowanus neighborhood.
