Sabyasachi Flagship NYC
Wesbuilt was selected to construct the New York City flagship store for renowned Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, located in the historic Archive Building, a Romanesque Revival landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. The 5,800-square-foot project reflects Sabyasachi’s signature exploration of maximalist interior design, conceived as a series of rich, immersive spatial experiences. Each room presents distinct material, lighting, and textural qualities—unified by finely crafted oak arches and millwork, stained concrete flooring, and custom-designed wallpaper. From a construction standpoint, the project required an exceptionally high level of craftsmanship and precision to execute the intricate detailing envisioned by the design team. Wesbuilt coordinated extensive custom millwork fabrication, specialty finishes, and the installation of delicate historical artifacts and bespoke furnishings sourced from across the world. The result is a dynamic and meticulously executed interior environment that transports visitors into Sabyasachi’s world of art, heritage, and craft—demonstrating Wesbuilt’s ability to deliver complex, design-driven retail spaces within landmarked structures.
