Palladino’s Steak & Seafood

Hospitality

Wesbuilt completed the renovation of the historic West Balcony at Grand Central Terminal for Palladino’s Steak & Seafood, transforming the former Michael Jordan’s Steak House space into a premier dining destination. The 8,200-square-foot project reimagines one of the Terminal’s landmark settings while preserving its architectural heritage. In collaboration with Palladino’s Steak & Seafood, Stys Hospitality Initiative, Rockwell Group, Richard Lewis Architect, JLL, and Metro-North Railroad (MNR), Wesbuilt delivered a complex renovation that revitalizes the Terminal’s culinary offerings while honoring its iconic character. The transformation included three custom millwork bars designed to complement the original architecture, the creation of a new patio trellis and bar repurposed from the former Vanderbilt Avenue taxi stand, and the integration of historic design details into a contemporary setting. A new state-of-the-art kitchen was also constructed with an innovative exhaust system routed through a converted elevator shaft, while intricate MEP systems were installed above active train tracks in coordination with the MTA.
