NYPD Traffic Control Facility
Wesbuilt completed the NYPD Traffic Control Facility in College Point, Queens, which encompassed full site restoration and the renovation of select interior spaces within an existing privately owned three-story building. Designed by GKV Architects, the 25,000-square-foot interior program includes new offices, locker rooms, conference rooms, muster room, and a public-facing redemption center. The project also involved upgrades to the 85,000-square-foot exterior parking area, including the installation of new drainage systems, resurfacing, fencing, and security booths to support operational efficiency and site security. Additional site improvements enhanced circulation, durability, and long-term functionality for daily NYPD operations. The renovation was carefully phased and coordinated to support the operational needs of the facility while modernizing key administrative and support spaces.
