Donal McIntyre
Co-Founder & PresidentView Bio
Donal is Co-Founder and President of Wesbuilt and is responsible for company operations. With over two decades of experience, he has been involved in all levels of construction management with a particular focus on BIM & VDC methods. Donal has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s reach across New York and the Tri-State area. Donal holds degrees in Architectural Technology and Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) from Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Mark Galway
Co-Founder & PrincipalView BioMark is Co-Founder and Principal of Wesbuilt and is responsible for construction operations. He has been involved in all levels of construction management with emphasis on commercial interior and ground-up projects. Mark holds degrees in Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) and Construction Management from the University of Glamorgan, Wales and Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland.
James Byrne
Director of EstimatingView BioJames serves as Director of Estimating at Wesbuilt, leading the estimating team in the preparation of competitive and strategically aligned bids across a diverse project portfolio. He brings extensive experience spanning both project management and estimating, including prior leadership roles with a large-scale union subcontractor. Since transitioning into the construction management sector, James has overseen the preconstruction of a wide range of projects, providing disciplined cost planning, constructability insight, and value-driven guidance from concept through award.
John Thomas
Director of Field OperationsView BioJohn is the Director of Field Operations at Wesbuilt, bringing extensive experience from leadership roles at some of the nation’s largest general contractors, including Turner, Gilbane, and Skanska. His background spans every phase of construction—from estimating and preconstruction through project management and field supervision. Over the course of his career, John has successfully led complex projects across the commercial, hospitality, and infrastructure sectors, consistently driving performance, safety, and quality on site.
Brendan Fennell
Project ExecutiveView BioAs Project Executive at Wesbuilt, Brendan provides leadership and oversight across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. With over 16 years of experience in construction management, he brings a deep understanding of both development and project delivery. Prior to joining Wesbuilt, Brendan held key positions at leading New York City real estate development firms and contractors including Simon Baron Development, HFZ Capital, and McGowan Builders. At Wesbuilt, he has overseen some of the company’s most notable projects from preconstruction through completion.
Stephen McKenna
Project ExecutiveView BioAs Project Executive overseeing Wesbuilt’s commercial interiors portfolio, Stephen leads a diverse selection of retail, education, hospitality, and office projects throughout New York City. Having advanced from Superintendent to Senior Project Manager and now Project Executive, he brings a well-rounded understanding of both field operations and project leadership. His experience spans complex interior fit-outs and high-end commercial environments, where he provides strategic oversight from preconstruction through completion to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
Sarah Capichioni
Head of Human ResourcesView BioSarah is the Head of Human Resources at Wesbuilt and brings over 25 years’ of experience across the architecture, engineering, construction, and non-profit sectors. Her career has been rooted in the AEC industry, where she has worked closely with both office and field teams to build practical systems that foster collaboration, compliance, and organizational growth. Before joining Wesbuilt, she held HR and operations roles at several prominent architecture and engineering firms in New York City.
Sean Rucker
Chief Investment OfficerView BioSean serves as Chief Investment Officer, bringing nearly a decade of experience in real estate development, investment management, and capital markets to the team. Prior to joining Wesbuilt, he served as Head of Development and Asset Management at Churchill Real Estate Holdings, overseeing a $250M NYC portfolio and $200M in active projects. Earlier in his career, he worked in Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, managing more than $350M in commercial asset dispositions, and spent time as an Investment Banking Associate at Chesterfield Faring Ltd., a boutique real estate investment bank focused on structured finance and capital advisory. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University.
John Henry McNierney
CEO of Wesbuilt DigitalView BioJohn Henry is CEO of Wesbuilt Digital, our construction technology division. He leads the firm’s digital strategy, supporting both internal teams and external clients in implementing BIM, VDC, and reality capture solutions to improve efficiency and coordination. With a background in operations consulting and experience leading a venture-backed startup, he has expanded Wesbuilt Digital’s presence nationwide, partnering with leading developers, architects, and hospitality brands. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Lehigh University.
Kacy Caviston
CEO and Partner of Wesbuilt ModularView BioKacy is the CEO and Partner of Wesbuilt Modular. He is a successful and renowned modular industry professional with over 30 years of experience delivering single family subdivisions, townhouses, and large multi-family developments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Connecticut and an MBA from UMass Lowell. Kacy is an active member of the Modular Building Institute, Boston Society of Architects, and the affordable housing network.
Our Evolution
Wesbuilt was founded in 2012 by Donal McIntyre and Mark Galway with an initial focus on interior construction. Over the last 14 years, the company has moved into new sectors and expanded its portfolio of services, earning recognition along the way for its continuous commitment to embracing technological innovations in the construction industry.
